About the Role
We are seeking a creative, passionate, and customer-focused Florist to join our team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent knowledge of fresh flowers and plants, and enjoys creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the quality and presentation of our floral products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, wreaths, and custom floral displays for occasions including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, holidays, and funerals.
- Consult with customers to understand their preferences, budget, and event requirements, providing professional recommendations.
- Process, condition, and care for fresh flowers and plants to maximize freshness and longevity.
- Maintain attractive visual merchandising and in-store floral displays.
- Receive, inspect, and organize flower deliveries, ensuring product quality and proper storage.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering flowers, plants, containers, ribbons, and other floral supplies.
- Prepare floral arrangements for delivery, ensuring they are securely packaged and presented to a high standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, refrigeration units, and retail space.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions accurately.
- Support online orders and coordinate with delivery personnel to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Assist with seasonal promotions, festive decorations, and special marketing events.
- Follow workplace safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a florist or floral designer is preferred.
- Formal training or certification in floral design is an advantage.
- Strong creativity with an eye for color, texture, and design aesthetics.
- Good knowledge of flower varieties, seasonal availability, and proper flower care techniques.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry flower boxes and supplies when required.
- Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and during peak festive seasons such as Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas.
- Basic computer and POS system skills are an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in event, wedding, or corporate floral design.
- Experience with inventory management.
- Familiarity with online order management platforms.
- Ability to communicate in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Working Hours
- 5–6 working days per week (depending on roster).
