That makes it as useful for practical garden problems \u2014 bare slopes, path edging, awkward gaps between paving \u2014 as it is beautiful in its own right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And the flowers themselves are the real headline. Conical blooms open in cool, creamy white and slowly shift tone as the weeks pass, moving through blush and rose to deeper, richer shades by late summer, so a single plant carries several looks across one season.
